Day Treatment is an alternative program for children who have social and behavioral problems that create challenges for them in traditional classroom settings. Qualified applicants must be willing to safely transport children with emotional and behavioral issues. You must possess a valid NC or SC driver's license and have a clean driving record with no suspensions in the last five years. Experience operating a 15-passenger van is strongly preferred. Staff person would be responsible for interacting and leading activities with clients (ages 7-17), inputting accurate weekly data of all crisis calls and walk-ins into the CDT system; supervising clients throughout their shift; completing intakes if they arrive during their shift; ensuring the house is clean and tour ready; administering medications as needed; and other duties as needed. Internships are available in a variety of fields including: Social Work, Counseling, Therapeutic Recreation, and Human Resources We look forward to partnering with students and professionals who are interested in learning more about our services and our business model. Internship is monitored work or service experience that is unpaid. The duration can vary based on the type of internship. Screened applicants are partnered with the appropriate Program Manager to meet the requirements of the internship. Interns are required to attend all mandatory trainings before beginning their internship hours. They will be required to attend select days of our Monthly two-week orientation before beginning placement hours. Orientation times are Mon -Fri, 9am-5pm, and are face to face.
