ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides effective leadership, supervision, development and evaluation of the organization while managing all operations in accordance with agency mission, policies, and external requirements
  • In concert with the Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for oversight and management of fiscal responsibilities and resources of the Agency
  • Leads the accomplishment of strategic and tactical plans for the agency while managing change and maintaining the quality performance and values of the agency
  • Continuously assures performance improvement focus for programs, including but not limited to: monitoring critical incident reports and corrective action plans and ongoing staff development and supervision. In concert with the Performance Improvement Department, develops and implements outcome measurements for programs; provides timely and accurate statistical and programmatic reports
  • Reviews high risk activities with involved staff to improve future performance. Follows all safety, health, and infection control policies. Ensures confidentiality for clients and employee
  • Uses effective internal and external communication skills
  • Collaborates with law enforcement, judicial and other social service organizations and integrates programs where possible
  • Provides guidance and assistance with funds development from community resources, in collaboration with the Advancement and Marketing Departments and in concert with the Board of Directors. Stays abreast of changes in funding and service trends and positions the agency to meet the changes and challenges
  • Acts as principle spokesperson for the agency, increasing the agency's visibility within the community
  • Identifies and develops strategic partnerships, contracting opportunities, services and marketing strategies to understand, prioritize and meet changing community needs
  • Communicates the vision and mission of the organization to the staff and community stakeholders while keeping the agency aligned with community needs and expectations
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

The CE will meet requirements of credentialed as provisionally/fully licensed professional required.  If provisionally licensed, must achieve full licensure within 30 months of hire. Familiarity in MS Office applications preferred. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in child/adolescent MH/ SA treatment services at the leadership level.  High proficiency in utilizing client information systems, running and analyzing statistical data, and MS Office applications.
