What you would do:

The HR Compliance Associate is chiefly responsible for all HR compliance-related tasks: pre-hire screening and onboarding of new hires including employment verification, drug screening, TB testing and physicals, I-9s, job description review; ensures personnel files are compliant and audit-ready; performs primary data-entry tasks for HRIS; manage components of workers compensation; trains staff on HRIS system; coordinates the dispute resolution process; assists team members on as-needed basis; provides support to Director of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all pre-hire screenings and setup for new hires. This includes, but is not limited to: EchoVantage setup (EMR), e3 data entry, diana screenings, credential verification, background checks, health screening results (as needed) and drug screenings
  • Maintain employee personnel files; ensuring content is compliant and current
  • Audits personnel files; ensuring files are completed and uploaded electronically
  • Manages Worker's Compensation process; ensures completion of form 19 and manages return to work
  • Ensures completion of random drug screenings
  • Conducts all timesheet and payroll processing activities for bi-weekly payroll
  • Generates reports on recurring or ad-hoc basis
  • Manage check request process

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

HS diploma required and two years of HR experience in a compliance role, preferably mental health; strong customer service skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or Psychology preferred; proficiency in MS Office.
