What you would do:
Serves as a Lead Trainer and resource for direct care staff and managers in Charlotte PRTF and AYN Transition House staff, and leads with managers the development of staff competencies. The trainer updates and organized company training programs for all personnel in Charlotte PRTF. Helps to provide a comprehensive training program for all staff that work directly with clients, including orientation, in-service, and on the job training, including after the orientation phase. In collaboration with the Learning and Development team and PRTF treatment team, the lead trainer will select and develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works. Schedules the appropriate classroom or other meeting places, and prepares the physical setup, including any audiovisual equipment.
The Lead Trainer will work closely with PRTF leadership to identify training needs and staff that would need additional training. They will come up with a tailored plan and work with staff in the one on one setting. This trainer will be required to be on site 20-30 hours per week and to during this time should be available to spend time on 1st, 2nd and weekend shifts. They should have consistent availability during all shifts, and will create a consistent schedule to reflect this consistency. The only time the lead trainer will not be available to provide mentorship, is when the trainer is involved in orientation for the agency.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
B.A. /B.S. human resources and 3 or more years related experience. QMHP preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
