What you would do:
Alexander Youth Network is looking for a live in Program Coach for My Sister Susan's House (MSSH) transitional housing for pregnant women. The individual in this position will provide direction to pregnant/parenting clients who are transitioning to independent living. This is a live in position who would typically work 12 hours per day Monday-Friday and off every other weekend.
Alexander Youth Network offers transitional housing for pregnant women and/or youth ages 16-21 year old in developing the skills needed to move forward towards personal independence. MSSH focuses on helping youth increase independent living skills, build healthy relationships, heal and recover from abuse, improve self-esteem and increase resilience to interpersonal violence. The program will empower youth to increase their awareness of protective factors, risky relationships and the power of their choices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or high school diploma and one to two years' experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
