Qualified Mental Health Professional Floater - Day Treatment & IIH - Fayetteville, NC

Alexander Youth Network is looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) for an opportunity to act as a Floater in the Fayetteville area. The position will help to provide support to our Day Treatment and Intensive In-home programs in the Southern Piedmont region. Experience in residential, partial-hospitalization, and community-based services strongly preferred.

Qualified applicants must meet NC requirements for Qualified Mental Health Professional:
- Bachelors in a Human Services field and two years paid experience with children/adolescents
- Masters in a Human Services field and one year paid experience with children/adolescents
- Bachelors in a non-Human Services field and four years paid experience with children/adolescents


Manages the behavior and records the treatment progress of clients in the Day Treatment learning environment.  Coordinates service delivery by assessing the needs of the child and family and linking with appropriate services. Conducts and leads group activities to support treatment goals; ensures that the Person Centered Plan is created, modified, and reviewed as appropriate through the Child and Family Team; provides agency vehicle transportation as needed.  


  • Completes documentation timely and accurately
  • Provides quality services in accordance with NMT model and agency policies
  • Adheres to TCI protocols for restrictive interventions (RIs)
  • Complete targeted direct service hours 
  • Engage client effectively managing no-show rate
  • Accurately maintains client Electronic Health Record
  • Successfully meet discharge outcomes

Qualified Professional (QP), Bachelors degree and 2 - 4 years of experience in child mental health and/or day treatment.  Familiarity in MS Office applications preferred.


Age specific competency for children and adolescents, competency in the Administration of Medications, Working with Mental Health Population through utilization of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Life Saving / Safety to include First Aid and CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens and Infection Control.


Valid Driver's license in state of residency.
