What you would do:

Alexander Youth Network is seeking to hire a high volume Recruiting Specialist to join our Human Resources team. Working closely with the HR Manager, the position will handle recruiting functions and will be responsible for the strategic recruitment of administrative, clinical and behavioral health talent in an extremely competitive market. This position will be responsible for tasks and deliverables that are integral to the strategic goals of the organization.

Essential Duties:

  • Developing and maintaining Recruitment metrics
  • Posting job openings to internal and external sites
  • Sourcing and screening candidates
  • Conducting interviews
  • Extending offers and creating offer letters
  • Reference checking
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

The Recruiting Specialist participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies, develops and maintains candidate networks, and leverages online recruiting resources and in-house Applicant Tracking System to identify qualified candidates. Responsible for establishing and maintaining measurement standards to provide meaningful information that will guide continual improvement and further increase employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or Psychology.  1-3 years of recruiting experience required, preferably in a mental healthcare setting.  Proficiency in MS Office, extensive knowledge of HR policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices needed.
