Here’s some information about our HEARTH Transitional Living Program: The HEARTH Transitional Living Program provides supervised housing for male and female youth ages 18-21 for up to 18 months. During their stay in the program, all of a youth’s living expenses are taken care of so they can focus on accomplishing goals that will ensure success in their future. Each youth sets goals specific to their situation to transition from the program to stable housing, obtain their high school diploma and/or college degree, receive needed vocational training to gain and maintain employment, develop permanent connections with caring adults, and improve their social-emotional well-being. During their stay in the program, they gain life skills such as conflict resolution, money management, meal planning and preparation, goal setting, and more. This program is designed to be similar to dormitory-style housing with clustered apartments leased by Youth Focus. Two youth share a two-bedroom apartment, and one apartment serves as the staff office and a common gathering space for program participants. Located in High Point, NC, this program allows youth some independence while still having staff support nearby as they learn and practice independent living skills. Youth who have benefited greatly from this program include homeless youth and young people who have aged out of the foster care system without the needed support to live successfully on their own. This position Part Time position. Must be able to attend a two week orientation.

The SAIOP Program Manager provides oversight and therapeutic services on an outpatient basis by demonstrating his/her ability to implement the agency’s purpose, philosophy, policies and procedures. The Youth Focus' My Sister Susan's House program provides housing and transitional living services for pregnant and parenting youth ages 16-21 for up to 18 months. The program coach provides support to youth in a residential setting, helping them learn independent living skills. The program coach is responsible for assisting clients with goal setting, providing case management, facilitating groups, supervising outings, providing transportation, and providing overall support in a therapeutic environment. Alexander Youth Network is looking for part-time, split shift morning and afternoon drivers to transport children to and from our Charlotte Day Treatment program. Day Treatment is an alternative program for children who have social and behavioral problems that create challenges for them in traditional classroom settings. Qualified applicants must be willing to safely transport children with emotional and behavioral issues. You must possess a valid NC or SC driver's license and have a clean driving record with no suspensions in the last five years. Experience operating a 15-passenger van is strongly preferred. Experience working with children preferred. The position is part-time (6-8am, 2-4pm), 20 hours weekly. A CDL is not required. Must be able to attend orientation and DOT training from Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Pay rate is $17.75/hour.
