What you would do:
Alexander Youth Network is seeking Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) professionals for their brand new, state-of-the-art Facility Based Crisis program in Guilford County opening Spring of 2021. The LPN will provide direct care to clients, such as clinical nursing assessments and medication management.
The Facility-Based Crisis program is a 16 bed inpatient service for children and adolescents that provides an alternative to hospitalization for youth presenting with escalated behavior due to a mental health, intellectual or development disability or substance use disorder who require treatment in a 24-hour residential facility. Facility-Based Crisis is an intensive short term, medically supervised service provided in a physically secure setting. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, with an expected length of stay of five to seven days.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Current NC LPN license or multi-state equivalent without restrictions. Experience with the population served preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current NC LPN License and a N.C. Driver's license
